Testia has launched SHM Academy, a new in-depth training programme for structural health monitoring, delivered by industry experts.

Participants of the SHM Academy course will become familiar with the technologies that are revolutionising the structural health monitoring (SHM) industry. The course provides hands-on experience with the most mature technologies that are currently being used in the aerospace and non-aerospace sectors,  a guided deep-dive into different standards and guidelines used across industries and an understanding of industry needs and opportunities related to SHM and the major issues and activities necessary for SHM to work safely and efficiently. Participants will also learn about the successful application of SHM solutions in different industries and the critical validation tasks needed to prove viability.

A certificate will be awarded on completion of the course as a stepping stone towards the next step of acquiring basic and expert grade level certification for two SHM techniques.
