To reduce mistakes made by the next generation of new radiographic testing (RT) operators working in high-pressure or dark environments, the Model 1100 incorporates intuitive, visually guided workflows. The redesigned lock mechanism offers improved visibility and clear tactile feedback to support consistent operation. High-visibility indicators guide the user through a ‘Connect, Secure, Operate’ sequence, where the shutter remains safely closed until the final step is reached. This sequence improves situational awareness and reduces the likelihood of procedural errors.
By combining the proven reliability of the 880 Series with next-generation improvements in shielding, ergonomics and simplicity, the Model 1100 is said to set a new standard for radiographic safety.
