Oceaneering secures contract with major Australian energy company

Oceaneering International Inc has announced that Oceaneering Australia has secured an inspection, maintenance and repair (IMR) and survey contract from a major Australian energy company.
Oceaneering mobilised in mid-November 2023 to carry out inspection, maintenance and repair and survey work scopes that include the provision of remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) and survey personnel and equipment, subsea inspection, onshore project management and engineering, data processing and associated deliverables, photogrammetry and onshore ROV video streaming for remote inspections. The offshore work scope is expected to take 15 days to complete.
Jason Hughes, Director of Offshore Projects Group, Asia-Pacific (APAC), Oceaneering, said: “This contract marks a new milestone for Oceaneering as it is our first survey scope in Australia and it complements our inspection, maintenance and repair capabilities in the region. We are delighted to have the confidence of our customer to carry out this work scope to help extend the life of their assets.”
