TWI continues its expansion in South East Asia

As a result of the high demand for its wide range of courses in South East Asia, TWI has continued to grow its operations and facilities by extensively expanding its premises in Kuala Lumpur.
TWI's training centre in Kuala Lumpur is one of a number of centres in Malaysia offering vocational training and international certification in NDT, welding and welding inspection, but also many other areas of skills development such as plant assessment and management courses and health, safety and environmental training and certification. Finding a new building to match TWI's high standards was no easy matter and TWI therefore undertook a huge expansion of its current facilities, doubling the size of its centre and completely renovating its existing accommodation.
It took less than six months to carry out and complete the refurbishment. The new centre now contains many fully equipped lecture rooms for groups of up to 40 candidates, a spacious reception area to welcome and register all training groups, a large cafeteria, a prayer room, a conference facility, 14 welding bays, dedicated MP/PT laboratory and UT laboratory and a large car park for students' vehicles.As South East Asia Regional General Manager, Ernie Moskini, reports: "TWI's new facility will further enhance TWI's reputation as a leading world-class provider of internationally recognised training and certification courses in the region."
TWI offers a range of courses in Kuala Lumpur and throughout the region including ultrasonic testing, radiographic interpretation, magnetic particle inspection, penetrant inspection, eddy current inspection, welding and senior welding inspector and paint inspector. It also trains and certifies many candidates in advanced inspection methods such as phased array, ToFD and long range UT. ASNT NDT Level III and bespoke training and examinations based on company specific requirements are also carried out.TWI"s training and examination centre in Kuala Lumpur is accredited by CSWIP, BINDT and other major certification authorities and offers examinations in CSWIP, BGAS-CSWIP, PCN, AWS/CSWIP, ASNT and ACCP. NEBOSH and IOSH health and safety training and certification are also available from the centre.
