The British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing (BINDT) is seeking new members to join its Certification Technical Committee (CTC), a key body guiding the direction of technical standards, certification and best practices across the NDT and CM community.

About the Committee

The Certification Technical Committee is a sub-committee of the PCN Certification Management Committee, dedicated to focusing on the technical aspects of personnel certification in testing, inspection and engineering asset management.

Key responsibilities of the committee:

  • Developing and maintaining PCN examination content, syllabuses and practical specifications.

  • Ensuring alignment with international and European certification standards.

  • Reviewing and validating examination materials and technical documentation.

  • Addressing emerging technologies and materials in certification programmes.

  • Supporting research, benchmarking and industry needs as directed by the Certification Management Committee (CMC).
