ESR Technology strengthens corrosion engineering team

ESR Technology, one of the UK's leading engineering, safety and risk management consultancies, has announced the addition of an experienced Corrosion Engineer to its team.

Working from the company's Aberdeen office, Mr Oladimeji Apesin will be responsible for the delivery of corrosion and integrity consultancy services to clients in the region.

Mr Apesin obtained a BSc Hons in Chemical Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria, before achieving an MSc in Corrosion Control Engineering at the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST).

He joins ESR Technology from Andrew Palmer and Associates in Aberdeen where he worked as a Materials and Corrosion Engineer for several years. A Chartered Engineer, Mr Apesin has a broad range of technical skills including subsea engineering, corrosion protection and wall thickness design, defect assessment, risers design, buckling analysis, dropped object studies, fatigue assessments, HAZIDs and risk-based inspection.
