Analysis of building structures

09/07/2010

Software benefits are hard to convey in printed matter so FLIR Systems has posted on its website an introductory video tour of its new FLIR BuildIR for the advanced analysis of building structures. This package is suitable for use with any FLIR infrared camera, from the compact i-Series right through to the sophisticated B- and P-Series models. It is designed to make image evaluation quicker and easier as well as more thorough.

The webcast and introductory movie take the viewer on a guided tour of the main advantages of this latest generation software. It takes in energy cost estimation, dew point calculation and air tightness reporting for visualisation of air filtration.  User-selectable sections introduce various functions such as zoom, geographic location, GPS, alarms and the Panorama image stitching tool.

Access to these video features is via the home page on the FLIR website at www.flir.com/thg.  And if the viewer likes what he or she sees, there’s also the option to download a 30-day trial version of the software.
