Intertek appointed by Santos to provide essential asset integrity and NDT solutions

Intertek, a leading total quality assurance provider to industries worldwide, has announced that it has signed a multi-year contract with Santos for the provision of inspection, non-destructive testing (NDT) and asset integrity management support services across its Australian assets.
Asset integrity management and NDT services are critical for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment and assets. Early detection of defects and irregularities, combined with ongoing asset management services such as risk-based inspection and corrosion management, helps owners and operators make informed decisions that minimise risks associated with asset damage, operating inefficiencies and in-service failure.
