TWI is proud to support armed forces personnel

08/06/2016

TWI has a long history of supporting and employing British armed forces personnel across a variety of welding and NDT-related disciplines. As an approved Enhanced Learning Credits (ELC) training provider, TWI is able to offer a wide variety of courses, ranging from conventional and advanced NDT to underwater inspection, as part of the MOD’s scheme to provide lifelong higher-level training to armed forces personnel to enable them to achieve nationally-recognised qualifications.

TWI is a British Forces Resettlement Services (BFRS) Partner and, as such, attends job fairs where its own ex-armed forces staff are able to advise leavers on the best way to gain industry-leading certification  that is recognised around the world. Many of TWI’s lecturers are former military personnel themselves, making them an excellent source of advice for those seeking to establish a new career in industry using TWI courses.

TWI has five training centres in the UK: Aberdeen, Cambridge, Middlesbrough, Rotherham and Port Talbot.

TWI is currently offering ELC-accredited courses at 2015 prices plus a 20% discount to British Armed Forces personnel wishing to enrol on non-ELC-accredited courses.
