Silverwing to attend StocExpo 2014

This year will see the 10th edition of StocExpo – the international event for the bulk liquid storage sector.The event will see independent and major terminal operators, as well as manufacturers and suppliers, come together to redefine a strategic vision and technical requirements for tomorrow’s terminals.
Silverwing is ready to show its latest innovations at the three-day exhibition, with live demos available at its stand, C16.
Silverwing UK Ltd is a leading specialist in NDT solutions for storage tanks, vessels and pipework within the oil, gas and petrochemical industries. The company designs, develops and manufactures advanced, seamless testing solutions for evaluating the condition of industrial assets, supporting effective and safe operation.
On display will be the new Floormap3Di and RMS2 systems. The Floormap3Di is the latest MFL tank floor inspection system, which has a unique method of discriminating between top and bottom surface originating corrosion and advanced analysis to aid with defect classification and sizing.
The RMS ARC is designed to inspect pipework longitudinally, from 24 to 48 inches. The combination of longitudinal pipe scanning with an 890 mm scan width brings a major improvement to inspection efficiency for pipeline applications, while maintaining the high standard of data quality associated with the RMS2.
Also, for the first time, StocExpo 2014 is introducing a new feature: ‘Speaker’s Corner’. Speaker’s Corner will give visitors the opportunity to hear directly from the exhibitors about the latest products, technology and services on offer at the show.
Silverwing’s Managing Director, Mr Wayne Woodhead, will be talking about tank corrosion inspection for storage tanks, in a presentation taking place on Tuesday 18 March at 13:00 hrs.
