Queensgate’s NanoCeramic sensors

13/03/2023

UK-based Queensgate Instruments is providing a NanoCeramic series of sensors to offer nanoscale precision for demanding environments such as ultra-high vacuum up to 10–10 torr and a range of temperatures from cryogenic at –193°C to 150°C.

The devices offer measurement ranges from 20 µm to 1250 µm, with frequency responses up to 20 kHz for vibration monitoring and detecting noise in precision instrumentation. They ensure linearity down to 0.05% and measurement resolution as low as 7 pm in a non-self-heating assembly. The devices are produced using military- and aerospace-approved techniques in a range of application-specific materials, including invar, stainless steel and aluminium.
