Eddyfi inaugurates Middle East office in Abu Dhabi

Eddyfi has inaugurated its new United Arab Emirates (UAE) facility in Abu Dhabi, which marks the creation of Eddyfi International LLC, a new and fully-owned subsidiary of Eddyfi NDT Inc.This new facility is located near Abu Dhabi International Airport and will offer sales, technical support, calibration and repair services in a very convenient business sector of the UAE capital.
“This latest investment and expansion into the UAE demonstrates Eddyfi’s continuing commitment to the world’s NDT market. After expanding into France in 2012 and into the US last year, the next logical step was to expand into the Middle East region. This new base of operations will enable Eddyfi to get closer to its clients, attract local talent and industry experts, as well as provide highly-required product support and calibration services in the region,” said Martin Thériault, President and CEO of Eddyfi.
Eddyfi began as a supplier of surface inspection ECA technologies to the power generation market, but expanded about four years ago into the oil & gas market. The company has rapidly penetrated the market and identified several technological opportunities that have been fuelling its organic growth. Beyond its convenient location, ease and competitive cost of doing business, Eddyfi chose Abu Dhabi for its new offices in order to be at the heart of the oil & gas industry in the Middle East region.
“Eddyfi’s local presence will increase the proximity and level of technical intimacy with users in the region,” said Keith Sinclair, Sales Manager in charge of the new Abu Dhabi office. “It will further improve Eddyfi’s efficiency and open up new opportunities for innovative products that will, in turn, allow us to continue on our mission to push the limits of electromagnetic NDT.”
