British Engineering Services Group welcomes XEIAD

10/11/2022

The British Engineering Services Group has announced that specialist engineering inspection consultancy XEIAD, which has expertise in specialist access, has now joined the Group.

The XEIAD team is made up of more than 200 people working across a number of sectors, including transportation, utilities, renewables and more, inspecting structures such as bridges, culverts, retaining walls, tunnels and shafts. The company’s engineers are skilled and experienced in rope access, diving and confined spaces and complete a wide range of inspections, assessments, surveys, non-destructive testing and intrusive investigations, design and project management, helping to ensure that its customers leave nothing to chance.

This is the eighth company that has been added to the British Engineering Services Group since 2019 and the third this year. XEIAD is said to be a great fit for the group of companies and will enhance its industry-leading suite of risk management services and grow the Group’s fantastic team of specialists.

Paul Capener, XEIAD Managing Director, will continue to lead the team, which is spread across offices in Devon, York, Swindon and Derby and at customer locations all over the UK.

“It has been very obvious that XEIAD and the British Engineering Services Group share the same behaviours and culture in the approach to their team and customers since we started talking several months ago. This is extremely important to both companies and has helped to make the decision to join the Group an easy one. For us here at XEIAD, joining such a fantastic business will support our ongoing growth and allow us to offer our customers even more critical asset and risk management services. This is great news all round,” said Paul.

“As we continue to add new businesses to the British Engineering Services Group, our priorities remain the same. We are focused on welcoming companies that support our risk management agenda, enhance the services we can offer our customers and, most importantly, mirror our people-focused culture. XEIAD fits this approach perfectly; its team is the very best at what it does and we are excited to get to know them over the coming months,” said Paul Hirst, Chief Operating Officer for the British Engineering Services Group.
