NDT inspection software

TWI has launched its new Crystal Vision non-destructive testing (NDT) inspection software for wall thickness measurement and corrosion mapping.
Corrosion monitoring is an important aspect for asset integrity management and ultrasound can be used to analyse and map wall thickness.
Crystal Vision is TWI’s new NDT inspection software application developed using TWI’s Crystal Software Development Kit (SDK) and based on TWI’s flagship inspection Crystal software architecture.
Crystal Vision specifically offers a corrosion mapping solution using either conventional or phased array ultrasonic data acquisition. It supports a number of crawler systems and provides an extensive set of data analysis and reporting features.
It will allow data merging and correction to be performed, where several smaller scans can be assembled into a larger area for analysis.
Built on the Crystal SDK, bespoke solutions can be provided on request to include integration with customer-specific motion controllers or robotic systems.
