New contracts and global projects for iicorr Ltd

Technical integrity and asset assurance expert iicorr has announced new contracts worth almost £1 million. The majority of the work has been secured by the firm’s specialist Inspection & Corrosion Services team. The contracts have been placed by oil and gas operators Fairfield Energy and OMV, plus leading energy industry services companies Oceaneering and Schlumberger.The projects have varied in scope from supply and installation of high-tech corrosion and sand monitoring systems to the development of bespoke non-destructive technology inspection tooling for risers and J-tubes. The client-base has stretched from the UK Continental Shelf and Central Europe to the Caspian region and Central Africa.

The projects were especially challenging, completing services in a variety of locations and conditions in high-pressure/high-temperature conditions that have ranged from sub zero ambient temperatures to 40ºC.
