HTSL introduces on-site portable instrument calibration service

High Technology Sources Limited (HTSL) has announced the launch of its fully mobile portable instrument calibration service, designed to complement the trusted offerings of its Calibration Laboratory. This new service allows the company to bring its expert calibration directly to customers’ premises, reducing downtime and disruption to operations.
Traditional calibration typically requires sending equipment to a laboratory, which can result in costly delays and potential damage in transit. HTSL’s new on-site service solves these challenges by bringing the innovative calibration equipment to the customer. Using custom calibration rigs and specialised jigs, the company’s highly skilled technicians can provide General Practice Guide (GPG)-compliant calibrations on a wide range of instruments, including alpha/beta contamination monitors, photon contamination monitors, dose rate monitors, electronic dosimeters and high-volume air samplers.

In addition to on-site calibrations, HTSL’s technicians can also perform minor repairs at the customer’s location. If a device requires more extensive repairs, it offers a return-to-base service to get equipment back up and running as quickly as
