Inductosense and Summit Inspection Services announce new partnership
22/10/2024
Inductosense has announced a new partnership with Summit Inspection Services (Summit). The Canadian service provider specialises in corrosion management services, as well as above-ground storage tank inspection and piping inspection programmes. Summit is driven to deliver statistical information that allows operators to monitor their assets and implement proactive vessel management, extending the lifetime of assets and saving time and money.
Summit will represent Inductosense as both a product reseller for the company’s wireless and non-destructive (WAND) products and an installer in Canada. The WAND system offers a simple method of repeatable and accurate thickness measurements with a flexible data collection offering. Data collection options include the WAND Handheld Data Collector (WAND-HDC), the WAND Remote Data Collector (WAND-RDC) and WAND-Online, providing a variety of options to suit customers’ data frequency needs and ensuring thickness measurements can be obtained safely either on site or remotely without the need for trained personnel. WAND enables customers to upgrade fully from ultrasonic inspection to fully digitalised corrosion monitoring, reducing emissions and costs.
Kim Ironside, Head of Partnerships at Inductosense, said: “We are very pleased to have formalised our partnership with Summit Inspection. They have an in-depth understanding of the inspection challenges faced by our customers and the use cases for our WAND technology. We look forward to working with the Summit team to emphasise the benefits of our collaboration.”
Inductosense’s first installation with Summit is with one of Canada’s largest energy providers and will be carried out at an Alberta oil sands operation in the coming weeks. Inductosense is excited to see what this strategic partnership will bring to its ever-growing client base.
Inductosense designs and manufactures ultrasonic sensing technology to monitor internal corrosion and erosion.
