Further developments at AGR

This month's Insight carries a profile of AGR Field Operations – Manchester, the Winsford, Cheshire-based supplier of advanced ultrasonic equipment.

In further recent developments, the company has announced the appointment of a number of new staff. Louise Berry has joined as Sales & Marketing Co-ordinator, Marc Wilkinson as Technical Sales, Marie Scott as Support Assistant and Yusuf Hasham as an Electronics Engineer.

"These members of staff are already contributing to the current success story here at AGR Technology Design and are helping build the foundations as we take our good company to a great one!" says General Manager Mark Clark.

Having recently been audited and awarded the ISO9001:2000 quality accreditation, the company made it a trio of positive developments by opening new production facilities. The plans also include a dedicated meeting room, training office and canteen facility, along with a focused area for customers and the sales department.

Sales & Marketing Manager Jackie Berry adds: "Some of the basic facilities such as a meeting and training room have been lacking due to space constraints and, with the new offices becoming available, we are able to grow and develop the business the way our customers are dictating. Customers are demanding more of a 'one stop shop' approach when placing orders and part of this was to be able to offer a training facility. This can also be offered as another revenue stream along with our current services and products that we provide."

The ISO9001 award sends out a very positive statement "not only to our existing and prospective customers but also to our own dedicated staff in showing our commitment towards quality and the importance we place on meeting our customers' demands and needs," says Mark Clark.

"Gaining such an award shows that our staff are competent and that a continuous quality control programme is in place that will allow our customers to trust and gain confidence in every aspect of our business operations," he continued.

"We understand that this is only the first small step and the only way to achieve such consistency and quality of service is for a continued support and belief in the system and benefits for all."
