Argyll-Ruane on the move!

In more ways than one, Argyll-Ruane (ARL), which incorporates Northern Test Centre/Level III Consultancy in addition to its training activities, is undergoing radical changes.ARL has moved into the Advanced Manufacturing Park Centre in Rotherham, making four UK locations from which to provide its UK services. The centre is one of the foremost new provisions in the UK to develop activities/technology in a multiple of industry sectors. ARL sees moving into the AMP Centre as a way of showcasing its wide range of services to industry. Part of the decision to move to this centre was that ARL has now become one of the few trainers/certifiers to gain approval to become a Nuclear Skills Academy Employer Nominated Training/Certification provider.
A number of new course/ examination services are also now available via ARL, including ultrasonic TOFD Levels 1 and 2, computerised digital radiography Levels 1 and 2, computerised digital interpretation Level 2 and eddy current (welds) Levels 1 and 2. Between now and the end of 2011, ARL is offering a range of course discounts to both companies and individuals booking on to these programmes, which all primarily lead to PCN certification.
Argyll-Ruane has also appointed a General Manager, Steve Pilley, who has many years of international experience in NDT/inspection activities, to support all of the ARL senior staff in developing the many areas of ARL activity.
