Silverwing presents Distributor of the Year Awards at Partners’ Meeting

Silverwing Ltd, a leading supplier of non-destructive testing (NDT) equipment for storage tanks, vessels and pipeline inspection within the oil, gas and petrochemical industries, has presented Krautkramer – Australia with its Distributor of the Year Award for 2014 and FACT – Egypt with its Distributor of the Year Award for the MENA region.
These awards were presented at the recent Silverwing IPM2015 (International Partners’ Meeting), held at the Mercure Hotel in Swansea. The criteria for winning this award was based upon a number of factors, including customer service, industry involvement, customer satisfaction, product knowledge, growth/expansion success and sales volume.
Jackie Berry, Global Distributor Manager, said: “2014 was a great year for Silverwing’s distributors. Our enhanced focus and support, combined with the outstanding efforts of our authorised distributors, resulted in record sales growth. This made deciding on our Distributor of the Year quite a challenge. I would like to congratulate both Krautkramer and FACT for their great success in selling Silverwing’s product portfolio and wish them the same success in 2015.”
Alan Ashton, Group Sales Director, said: “The MENA region has been difficult due to both the political and economical issues that are well publicised. However, the award to FACT was made in recognition of its skill in both overcoming these issues as well as selling the full range of MFL and UT products in an extremely demanding territory. FACT has also consistently improved its market share in Egypt over the last three years, resulting in a 30% higher turnover in 2014 and the MENA region.
