BINDT Certification and Technical Engineer

BINDT is looking to recruit an experienced Certification and Technical Engineer to maintain and develop the PCN scheme and its documentation (non-destructive testing (NDT), condition monitoring (CM) and Inspection programmes). The role is key to the management and continuous improvement of BINDT's certification schemes.

 
Key responsibilities:

• The provision of deep and broad technical support to staff, trustees, committees and other stakeholders associated with BINDT’s certification services.
• Management of the BINDT audit competency programme, which will include oversight of audits and the potential to conduct audits and observation.
  
  

Criteria:

• To hold or have held Level 2 recognised certification in a minimum of three methods, one of which shall be volumetric and, in addition, to hold, have held or be willing to achieve Level 3 recognised certification in a minimum of two methods.
• Demonstrable qualities of impartiality, discretion, integrity and the ability to work effectively in teams and with other individuals at all levels of seniority.
• Knowledge/awareness of current ISO 9712, ISO 17024 and ISO 17021 and all other relevant standards.
• Ability to travel nationally and possibly internationally on occasion (representing BINDT at conferences and exhibitions, standards meetings, committee meetings, etc).
