A heavy engineering company supplying process equipment to the oil & gas and petrochemical industries is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer.
Role and responsibilities:- Carrying out initial design and calculation of components in order to produce accurate quotations
- Ensuring sales enquiries are followed up to meet lead times
- Identifying areas for market growth and maintaining customer relationships
- Attending customer sites across the UK and Europe.
Knowledge, skills and experience:- A Higher National Certificate (HNC) in mechanical engineering
- Experience in a technical engineering role with a customer focus
- Oil & gas industry experience
- Understanding of design codes, materials testing and non-destructive testing.
