Located on the River Clyde, Glasgow has been transformed from an industrial city to the country's cultural centre, with its excellent museums, art galleries, concert venues and festivals. Its Gaelic name meaning 'lovely green place' is appropriate, given its 70 parks and open spaces. Music lovers of all kinds will find plenty of things to do in Glasgow, known as Scotland's music capital, with venues that include the Theatre Royal (home of the Scottish Opera) and the Concert Hall (home of the Royal Scottish Orchestra).

Travel by road
The M8 motorway network is four miles and approximately a ten-minute drive from the hotel. Use the following navigation coordinates to find the hotel: 55.86059, -4.25811. Discounted parking is available at the NCP car park (postcode G1 4PA), for £11 for 24-hours (normally £22). Please ask the reception team to validate your ticket.

By rail
The Principal Grand Central Hotel, Glasgow, is conveniently attached to the Glasgow Central Station and the hotel entrance is located on the main station concourse. Queen Street Station is an eight-minute walk away from the venue.

By Air
Glasgow Airport is eight miles, or 15 minutes via a taxi, and a shuttle bus is available from the airport to to the venue (exit the bus at the second stop on Bothwell Street). Prestwick Airport is 30-40 minutes from the hotel by train.
