Established in 1995, The Validation Centre (TVC) Ltd will be using Materials Testing 2017 to market its range of specialist inspection systems and NDT equipment repair and recalibration facilities including ISO 17025 UKAS accreditation for the recalibration of ultrasonic flaw detectors both at TVC facilities and on site.
A highlight of the display will be the CALSIS Internal video and laser profiling system for the internal inspection of weld root condition and laser profile measurement on stainless steel and clad pipelines.
This enables operators/users to conduct weld inspection and pipeline internal root profile measurements on pipeline production welds. The system has a 1 km wireless range, allowing visual inspection to be carried out and measurements to be taken of land line closing welds while transmitting the video image and laser measurement data directly to the inspection team.
