Established in 1946, TWI Ltd will be using Materials Testing 2019 to market its range of eLearning services for students to acquire the essential knowledge required for certification in non‐destructive testing (NDT), NDT services, training courses and NDT apprenticeships, which offer:
- Training on site or at one of TWI's venues;
- eLearning/blended-learning options; and
- CSWIP, PCN and employer‐specific certification.
TrainNDT
Demonstration of an innovative training method whereby an unlimited number of samples with various flaws can be superimposed onto one mock sample. The data from real samples is premastered and saved in a master database. By downloading the relevant dataset, course attendees/students can practice with a range of flaws, including rare in‐service flaws, with one mock sample. It not only simplifies training course logistics but also exposes those attending to a wider range of flaws, as seen in the industry.
