Aerospace Workshop 2024

1 October 2024
BAWA Centre, Bristol, UK

  About the workshop

This workshop was organised by the Aerospace Committee of BINDT to refresh on the Additive Manufacturing (AM) for Aerospace workshop ran six years ago.

The aim was to see what had progressed since the last workshop and whether there were any other new developments in AM.

The areas that were reviewed in this workshop were customer applications, any relevant standards and a review of new technologies from small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), research organisations and universities.

A tour at the GKN Global Technology Centre in Bristol took place after the workshop which focused on the NDT research and development related to additive manufacture.
