Tensile tests play a crucial role in assessing the mechanical properties of materials, providing insights into characteristics such as ultimate tensile strength and maximum elongation, which are fundamental for evaluating their resistance to tensile loads. This study focuses on monitoring these traits across a range of temperatures within a sample batch to ensure compliance with industry standards. Our objective is to develop material allowables that accurately depict the evolution of a material property (such as ultimate strength) against temperature, specifically the median and minimum curves for each property. We aim to establish these curves with a robust mathematical foundation, minimising distribution assumptions and adhering to the inherent constraints among features.
