[8B1] An individual report reviewing the current maintenance effectiveness of a safety-critical site (ABC Chemical Manufacturers)

The purpose of this document is to provide the Board of Directors for ABC Chemical Manufacturing current maintenance effectiveness. The report will review and specifically focus on transformation of maintenance planning and control.
It will achieve this by assessing ABC Chemical Manufacturing Engineering Department’s maintenance planning and control (MPC) through looking at scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance alongside original equipment manufacturer (OEM) recommendations, distinguishing the principles of work planning and control. The report will further review the role of the Internet of Things (IoT) within the maintenance planning and control setting. It will propose maintenance routines suitable for a chemical manufacturing environment, alongside assessing the technical feasibility and risks involved in strategy-based maintenance routines.
All findings will be underpinned by Harvard Reference (Parker (1903) figures, illustrations, and tables), based on a review of the given topics and resources available to the author at the time of writing.
