Training and consultancy organisation IMechE Argyll Ruane will be exhibiting alongside global manufacturer of NDT flawed specimens Sonaspection at BINDT’s Materials Testing Exhibition, running from 6 to 8 September at the International Centre in Telford.
The companies will also be joined by members of the team at IMechE Fife NDT, which was established in 2021 to support Scotland and the North of England.
All three businesses form the commercial arm of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) and they will be sharing stand A13 to bring to fruition one of their strategic aims to work more collaboratively to better support clients within NDT and the engineering sector at large.
The event will be used to showcase the training, examinations and consultancy services of IMechE Argyll Ruane and IMechE Fife NDT, including the latest development of the new TFMi technologies course, which will be described in a presentation taking place on Tuesday 6 September at 15h00 (Session D).
The team will also be supporting the NDT apprenticeship session on Thursday 8 September, where NDT apprentice Elliot Mason with be sharing his experience so far of undertaking the NDT Engineering Technician apprenticeship at 10h05 (Session D).
Sonaspection will be showcasing a range of its key products, including the new 3D printing and NDT educational testing kits.
The team has collaborated to create a new flawed specimen especially for the event and people visiting the stand will have the opportunity to be one of the first to inspect and try to identify the flaws implanted.
