Established in 2018, Novosound Ltd will be using Materials Testing 2022 to market its range of innovative ultrasound sensors, which are designed and manufactured using a thin-film technique to address the limitations of traditional ultrasound. This will include a series of NDT products for the inspection and monitoring of industrial assets.
A highlight of the display will be a demonstration of the Novosound Kelpie, which is a flexible array, and the Novosound Belenus, designed for continuous monitoring. The Kelpie can be used to conform to a wide range of diameters and curvatures, enabling easy, efficient and accurate inspections. The Belenus can be fitted to a range of structures, including pipes, storage tanks and pressure vessels, enabling 24/7 asset monitoring, and is suitable for fixed installation in both extreme and ambient environments.
