Stork UK

E21

Established in 1868, Stork UK, a Fluor company, will be using Materials Testing 2022 to demonstrate its range of asset integrity management solutions and technologies.

A highlight of the display will be a demonstration of PlantSENS, Stork’s latest and greatest invention in wearable technology for assets. The company’s experts will also be on hand to discuss its specialist application of advanced inspection methods, such as alternating current field measurement (ACFM) and PA-CAT.

PlantSENS is a holistic approach to asset integrity monitoring, which enables users and operators to redefine how asset owners can collect, analyse and trend data to make informed decisions.

ACFM is a fresh approach to both detecting and accurately sizing (length and depth) surface-breaking cracks in metals. Without the need for chemical consumables, it is a clean-green approach to inspection.

PA-CAT is a novel ultrasonic testing phased array application designed to solve the long-time problem of contact-point corrosion, such as at pipe supports. Using conventional phased array equipment and a sophisticated algorithm developed by Holloway NDT & Engineering Inc, it is now possible for Stork’s technicians to provide assessments of plant condition in these normally problematic areas.

Based UK wide, Stork delivers conventional and advanced NDT techniques and testing, in addition to monitoring solutions.
