3-5 September 2024
The International Centre, Telford, UK

The British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing (BINDT) is pleased to announce the launch of the 1st Annual Ultrasonic Testing (UT) Competition, which will take place on the 3 and 4 September 2024 at the International Centre, Telford, UK. The competition will be held on Stand E21 at the Materials Testing 2024 (MT 2024) exhibition and alongside NDT 2024, the Annual Conference of BINDT.

The competition will assess the general UT skills for two sets of contestants, NDT UT Level 2 technicians and NDT UT Level 3 technicians. The tournament will follow a ‘knockout’ system whereby contestants will have playoffs until one is crowned the victor. A draw will take place in August featuring all selected competitors and will be released on the BINDT social media channels. The application submission deadline is Friday 2 August 2024.

The grand final winners will be announced at the NDT 2024 Conference awards dinner.
