  NDT Careers Day
The British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing (BINDT) will be hosting a dedicated NDT Careers Day, aimed at introducing new and emerging talent to the exciting career opportunities available across the non-destructive testing (NDT) industry.

The NDT Careers Day will be held in the Ironbridge room from
09.45 am to 3.00 pm on Thursday 10 September 2026. This free event is specifically aimed at students aged 16+, including those in sixth forms, colleges and universities, as well as recent graduates and career changers, who are interested in learning more about NDT, the different routes into the profession and the wide range of roles available across the sector.

The event will provide attendees with the opportunity to:
  • Meet employers from across the engineering and NDT industries at dedicated exhibition stands.
  • Hear inspiring talks from employers, industry experts and current apprentices about their career journeys and experiences.
  • Learn about apprenticeships and other routes into engineering and NDT.
  • Discover the wide variety of roles and sectors where NDT skills are in demand.
  • Ask questions and gain valuable careers advice from experienced professionals.
  • Network with potential future employers and make valuable industry connections.
 
Whether attendees are considering university, an apprenticeship or entering employment, the event offers an excellent opportunity to explore future career options, gain first-hand insight into the industry and connect with organisations looking to inspire and recruit the next generation of engineering professionals.

Schools, colleges and universities are welcome to attend for the full day or simply drop in at a time that suits their timetable.
