BINDT has recently revised the PCN Aero scheme. With ISO 9712 and EN 4179 currently under review and the potential effects of Brexit, the Institute has found it necessary to critically analyse its current offering for personnel certification within the aerospace sector (PCN Aero). This critical analysis has identified new opportunities borne out of revised standards and also allowed PCN Aero to reposition itself to meet the requirements of the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).

It should be stressed that an implementation period has been agreed where both legacy (old) and revised PCN Aero schemes will run concurrently up to and including April 2020. The implementation phase is in place to address any initial issues encountered in order to ensure, as much as possible, a seamless transition for both you and your organisation.
