IMechE to hold two-day event on NDT

07/02/2017

With recent developments in NDT methods and technologies, reliance on traditional methods, due to standards, guidelines and practice, is questionable. In a landscape where inspections demand more of NDT processes and explanation, ensuring the right method is being used at the right time to provide the best results is crucial.

The Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) is organising a two-day event: ‘Non-Destructive Testing 2017’, to be held 21-22 March 2017 at the IMechE Engineering Training Centre in Sheffield, which will cover the latest technologies and techniques to increase reliability and testing effectiveness and to ensure compliance with industry standards. With presentations from Dstl, Amec Foster Wheeler, RWE, Network Rail, Rolls-Royce and the University of Bristol, attendees will also benefit from case study insights and knowledge sharing across multiple engineering disciplines, which could enhance the testing processes in their organisations.
