09/02/2017 Purpose-built pressure testing facility opens for business at TWI
TWI industrial members now have a new supplier for their pressure testing requirements. In combination with TWI capabilities in project management, welding, specimen preparation, strain gauging, bespoke testing, fracture testing and resonance fatigue testing, the addition of a new purpose-built containment facility means that the organisation can provide a one-stop shop for full-scale component testing.

06/02/2017 Lord Heseltine opens new technology and training centre in Middlesbrough
A visit to TWI’s Technology and Training Centre by the Rt Hon the Lord Heseltine has marked the official opening of the organisation’s flagship building at Teesside Advanced Manufacturing Park, Middlesbrough. Lord Heseltine, a government adviser for regeneration and growth, joined over 60 guests representing industry and the local authorities to open the new centre, which will play a major role in the Tees Valley Strategic Economic Plan.
