18/01/2017 Eddyfi launches new fillet weld probe
As a world leader in electromagnetic inspection technologies, Eddyfi has announced the launch of the Sharck fillet weld probe. It is designed around the well-known tangential eddy current array technology (TECA), which is specifically made for carbon steel crack assessment. The technology not only allows the position of a crack to be established and its length measured, but it also allows for measurement of its depth, with minimal surface preparation. Similar to the Sharck butt weld probe, this version can tolerate a lift-off (paint or coating, for example) of up to 3 mm.
