Expansion of UKAS accreditation

Having previously gained UKAS accreditation for ultrasonic flaw detection, Oceanscan Ltd has announced that its accreditation has been extended to include the calibration of eddy current flaw detectors.This latest achievement means that the calibration of all eddy current equipment, carried out in its dedicated laboratory, will now carry the prestigious UKAS mark and, as such, will continue to provide its customers with the confidence that its accredited calibrations, delivered by a highly-skilled workforce, are to an internationally-recognised standard. Most importantly, it recognises Oceanscan’s underlying commitment to excellence in quality customer service, throughout all of its operations.
After this latest success, the company will, once again, begin investigating additional products and technologies to include in its current scope of accreditation.
