Edif ERA acquires Matthews Engineering Training

Edif ERA, a company owned by the Edif Group, has announced the acquisition of Matthews Engineering Training Ltd (MET). MET is a market-leading provider of ASME and API-certified inspector courses for individuals and smaller contractors, as well as in-house training tailored to the needs of blue-chip and corporate clients.Edif ERA is a global leader in the provision of engineering consultancy and training services. Its reputation stems from an enormous breadth of expertise and vast project experience across multiple industries.
Edif ERA helps clients to optimise the performance, life and resilience of a wide variety of high-value capital assets. Highly-credible experience in providing recommendations for extending the safe use of equipment beyond the original retirement date sets Edif ERA apart from the field.
MET enhances the Edif ERA offering by providing a high-quality, versatile and certified suite of training solutions to the in-service inspection market, ensuring clients’ engineering resources are of the highest calibre.
MET is a small, dynamic and high-performing team and will continue to operate in this way under the ownership of Edif ERA. Cliff Matthews, Director of Matthews Engineering Training, will continue to manage the business and lead the ongoing development and growth of the inspection training offering as part of Edif ERA.
