TSC and Fugro TSM sign supply agreement for diver-deployed ACFM products

16/09/2015

TSC Inspection Systems and Asia-based Fugro TSM have announced the signing of a two-year frame agreement covering the supply of subsea diver-deployed ACFM® products. The agreement came into effect from 1 May 2015 and has options to be extended on completion of the initial two-year period.

“During the last quarter of 2014, TSC established a presence in Singapore with the objective to create strong working relationships with key customers in the region who regularly use ACFM technology, in order to ensure they receive the best operational and technical support possible,” said Paul Watkins, TSC’s Business Development Director. He continued: “Fugro TSM is, without doubt, a key TSC customer and we take our relationship with them very seriously, so we are extremely pleased with the signing of this agreement. Their operational feedback on how our products perform in the field is enormously helpful in our continuing drive to provide top-quality equipment; but what’s exciting for both companies is that we now have the opportunity to discuss ways to further enhance the relationship by introducing additional ACFM-based products and services and we are looking forward to developing these discussions over the coming year.”

Damiain Brown, Fugro TSM’s Inspection Manager, based in Perth, Australia, said: “Having direct access to the actual inventor of ACFM technology and being provided with products and operational support from TSC’s facility in Singapore is very beneficial to us and our customers.” He added: “We are already talking with TSC about some product enhancements and new ideas on the deployment of ACFM in a subsea application, so having this close working relationship is very important to Fugro TSM and we are excited about developing it further.”
