Thermography for ROAV operators

06/07/2012

TWI was delighted to be approached by Cyberhawk Innovations in Livingstone, UK, to provide thermographic inspection training for its operators.

Cyberhawk Innovations is a world leader in aerial inspection and survey using state-of-the art, remotely-operated aerial vehicles (ROAVs) with both digital and thermography cameras. The objective of the training was for operators to gain a better understanding of the principles of thermography, looking at both its capabilities and limitations, to ensure they were getting the most out of the new equipment.

TWI was the obvious choice for Chris Fleming, the Operations Director. Chris trained at TWI and is familiar with its proven track record and excellent standards in training, underpinned by TWI’s global reputation in technology engineering, research and consultancy.

Chris holds CSWIP Plant Inspection qualifications himself and recognises the importance of having internationally recognised certification. All five operators opted for the CSWIP Level 1 examination and all five successfully passed the exam.

Open CSWIP Thermographic Inspection courses are scheduled throughout the year. For further information, contact Customer Services on +44 (0)1223 899500 or email trainexam@twi.co.uk
