A Materials Technician from a testing background is sought to work with a premier business that is a specialist in its field.
The company tests exotic materials for the defence and aerospace industries, conducting destructive and non-destructive testing in a laboratory setting.
The successful candidate will be working with cutting-edge technology and testing the latest composites.
The role will involve the creation and testing of specimens, report writing and data analysis. This role is not a typical material testing position and will involve working across a wide variety of interesting and unique materials and use of a multitude of different techniques.
Progression is offered through a structured development plan, enabling the Materials Test Technician to become a Materials Engineer.
The role:
- Conducting a wide variety of tests across exotic materials
- Creating and testing material specimens
- Writing reports to feed back results to clients
- Performing data analysis.
The person:
- Materials Technician or similar
- Ability to gain security clearance
- Commutable to Honiton.
