An opportunity has arisen for a skilled NDT Technician – Level 2 to join a well-established engineering team in the aerospace industry. As part of a growing company, the successful candidate will work closely with senior technicians and the Materials Manager to deliver high-quality non-destructive testing (NDT) in a highly regulated environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform NDT tasks in compliance with safety, quality and regulatory standards
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of all NDT-related documentation
- Support NDT operations at remote locations as needed
- Coordinate with engineering teams to complete tasks on time and within budget
- Continuously assess and improve NDT procedures for efficiency and safety.
Skills and experience:
- Previous NDT experience in aerospace, automotive, aviation or similar high-value manufacturing (essential)
- Certified to PCN/AERO, BS EN ISO 9712 or EN 4179 Level 2 in eddy current (EC) and ultrasonic testing (UT) (other disciplines beneficial, but not essential)
- Strong understanding of products and regulatory requirements
- Ability to be security clearance compliant with UK/ITAR regulations.
