Coronavirus Precautions

Updated 2 April 2020

UPDATE FOR BINDT MEMBERS: 2 April 2020

BINDT is committed to supporting its members throughout the coronavirus crisis and as such we will extend the membership renewal date for anyone experiencing difficulties, initially by three months.

If you would like to take the option of extending your renewal date, please contact Cindy Bailey (cindy.bailey@bindt.org).

UPDATE: 25 March 2020

As you would be aware, the situation regarding the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is developing daily across the world. The safety and wellbeing of our staff, as well as that of our members and committee participants, is our highest priority. We have carefully considered the official advice available to us and our responsibility to reduce the risk posed to those working for BINDT and participating in, and supporting, the work of our committees.

Until further notice, all BINDT committee meetings, as well as those of our working groups and user groups, have been postponed. This includes web conference and conference call meetings.

Considering the escalation of the seriousness of the situation and following recent advice from the UK government, we have decided, for the time being, to close the BINDT office in Northampton to help safeguard employees. Our dedicated staff are nevertheless continuing to work from home where possible.

The BINDT telephone lines will therefore be unmanned for the time being and you are asked to contact the Institute via email, where our staff will endeavour to respond as soon as possible.

Should your enquiry be PCN-related, please email pcn@bindt.org and your enquiry will be forwarded on to a member of staff for attention. All other enquiries should be directed to info@bindt.org

Please be advised that we will make every effort to respond to your enquiry promptly, but you may experience a delay due to the current circumstances, which are beyond our control, and we ask for your patience during this time.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused and stress that we have implemented this stringent measure to help combat the spread of the virus.

Thank you for your cooperation.
