22/12/2014 Report presents global forecast of machine condition monitoring market to 2020
Machine condition monitoring is the best way of maintaining machines to meet the requirements of production. It is the process of monitoring the health of a machine with the intent of predicting mechanical wear and failure. Machine condition monitoring is a part of the predictive maintenance process. The machine CM market has a broad scope in industry and is important as it provides information concerning the condition of machinery, which ensures the right maintenance is provided at the right time. Machine condition monitoring provides sensory indication that components are functioning under rated capacity and provide a suitable warning if the preset standard conditions and indices are exceeded.
