Silverwing holds Asian distributors IPM

06/01/2016

Due to the huge success of Silverwing’s April International Partners Meeting (IPM), held at its headquarters in Swansea, October 2015 saw the company hold an Asian IPM in Singapore. Distributors from 11 different countries attended the meeting, along with Silverwing staff from the UK and Africa offices.

The meeting was designed to bring together distributors from the Middle East and Asia region to provide a platform for sharing knowledge, strengthening partnerships and working for growth.

The week-long programme was designed to motivate, inspire and inform the global distributors of Silverwing. This was achieved by a combination of hands-on workshops with the equipment, along with business case presentations, where the participants gained first-hand knowledge to help them promote a strong relationship and support their client base through offering a total solution.

During their stay they spent time with Jeremy Davies, from the UK support team, to understand and learn about support and how to give local support to their clients. Time spent with Robert Williams from the UK training department, who has many years of experience in UT, and Rudolph Nel from the African office, completed the knowledge transfer.

Jackie Berry, Silverwing’s Global Distributor Manager, said: “In 2015, we held two IPM meetings. Combined with some local distributor visits, we have captured all of our partners globally. Without our overseas business partners it would be difficult for Silverwing to cover many regions. With our highly motivated and knowledgeable distributors in these countries it will be a pleasure to further extend the international reach of Silverwing, which will naturally also benefit our local clients.”
