Olympus NDT Canada has proceeded with the official inauguration of its new office and manufacturing complex, built at a cost of CAD $37 million in the Michelet Innovation Zone. Situated at 3415 rue Pierre-Ardouin, Québec, the new site unites all of Olympus NDT Canada’s services and personnel under one roof, enabling the company to better respond to production demands and optimise its research and development activities in support of its extensive portfolio of industrial testing and measuring solutions. 14/11/2017 Ashtead Technology signs rental partnership for Silverwing products
Ashtead Technology has been appointed as the preferred rental partner in the UK for all Silverwing products, a line of NDT inspection equipment by Eddyfi Technologies. The agreement represents another new partnership with Eddyfi Technologies; Ashtead recently signed a five-year collaboration agreement for Eddyfi’s range of TSC products.

08/11/2017 TWI helps The Engineering College meet industry demand for staff
The Engineering College in Birkenhead is set to meet industry demand for new staff through the launch of a commercial welding training centre. The new centre, which was part-funded by Liverpool City Region’s Growth Deal, was able to go ahead after The Engineering College gained certification from TWI Certification Ltd through the Certification Scheme for Welder Training Organisations (CSWTO).
