Pocket guide to professional registration

24/10/2022

The Engineering Council has published the 2022/2023 edition of its ‘Pocket Guide to Professional Registration’ (sometimes known as ‘the Pink Book’), which is available to download from its website free of charge.

Formatted for easy reading on screen, this guide aims to provide key information about registration with the Engineering Council and features short profiles on all licensed professional engineering institutions and professional affiliates.

The Pocket Guide to Professional Registration covers: how the different engineering organisations work together; what professional registration is, including information about each professional registration title, benefits for registrants, benefits for employers and benefits for society; how to become professionally registered; and profiles of all licensed professional engineering institutions and professional affiliates, including their specialisms and missions, what professional titles they offer and their contact details.

All of the information contained was correct as supplied and statistics are correct as at 31 December 2021. As always, the Engineering Council endeavours to keep the online version of this publication up to date as changes are notified, but the guide itself also recommends that users check the primary source of information before acting on the information provided.
