TVC establishes new facility in Europe

In a positive move to minimise the effects of the UK leaving the European Union, The Validation Centre (TVC) Ltd has brought forward its plans and established an independent company in the Netherlands, offering the same high-quality products and services to its European customers without the hassle of having to export and reimport equipment to and from the UK.
The new company is based in Nieuwegein, just outside Utrecht, and is headed by Jurgen Riemeijer, the newly appointed Director. TVC Europa BV has full recalibration facilities, offering repair and recalibration for all types of non-destructive testing (NDT) equipment to recognised national and international standards, in addition to stocking a wide range of NDT consumables and ancillary equipment.
Although independent from TVC in the UK, TVC Europa BV stocks and supplies the same comprehensive range of welding data logging systems, gas flow and management equipment available from TVC in the UK and has demonstration facilities for the Calsis laser camera pipeline weld inspection systems.
Bringing these plans forward has already helped European customers and UK-based companies with European projects to have their systems serviced and recalibrated by reducing the time and bureaucracy involved in shipping equipment, something that was necessary to maintain the high level of service previously provided.
TVC Europa BV will increase staff numbers in the coming months, adding calibration technicians as demand grows. Equipment from the oil & gas, electricity generation, offshore construction and welding gas production industries has already passed through the facility, with clients immediately taking advantage of having local facilities offering high-quality services and fast turnaround of their systems.
