Huisman launches monitoring system

Dutch heavy and offshore crane manufacturer Huisman has introduced ‘Performance Insights’, a new data monitoring system designed to help equipment owners improve maintenance scheduling and operational efficiency.
Available through the company’s ‘myHuisman’ client portal, the system monitors equipment performance, tracks alarms and warnings and analyses energy consumption and component usage. The platform also supports improved maintenance scheduling and cycle times and proactive fault resolution to minimise operational interruptions, as well as helping to reduce operational costs while extending component lifespan.

The company plans to expand the system’s features with additional condition monitoring and system analytics capabilities in the near future.
